Joining + Whitelist

Do I need to apply for whitelist to play?

For civilian play, no — open a Discord ticket and you'll get added. For government roles (Met Police, NHS, DOJ, Fire), yes — submit a 4-step application at /whitelist.

How long does whitelist review take?

Most apps are reviewed within 5 working days. Senior PD apps and DOJ apps can take up to a week because they need two reviewers.

Can I appeal a rejection?

You can re-submit after 14 days. The reviewer's DM tells you what specifically didn't pass.

In-game roleplay

When does NLR trigger?

When you bleed out and respawn at a hospital, or get declared DOA. See How the New Life Rule works.

What's FearRP?

If a weapon is on you or you're outnumbered, you comply. See Understanding FearRP.

Can I record gameplay?

Yes — Medal/Shadowplay/OBS are fine. Streaming is encouraged but please follow the code of conduct re. doxxing and IC/OOC.

Money + Store

Are Obey Coins refundable?

Tebex governs refunds. One-off purchases are typically non-refundable once delivered. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime — see refund policy.

Can I gift Obey Plus to a friend?

Not yet — Tebex handles purchase, but transfer is on the Phase-9 roadmap. For now, your friend has to subscribe themselves.

What's the difference between Obey Coins and in-game cash?

Coins are bought (or earned via daily login) and used for convenience items. In-game cash is earned through jobs and used for the RP economy. They don't convert. See Obey Coins explained.

Technical

How do I link my Discord to my in-game character?

Connect once with FiveM — the obey-feed script writes the link automatically. After that, daily bonuses, store credits, and Plus perks all flow to the right character.

Can I have two characters?

Yes — a "Custom PED" pack on the Tebex store opens an extra slot. Each character has independent backstory + funds.

Staff + admin

How do I report another player?

Don't DM staff. Open a ticket in #staff-help on Discord and include video evidence (Medal / Shadowplay). Text logs are rarely sufficient. Full process at 1.1 Support & Tickets.

What counts as a "Founder" / "Admin" role?

We have five tiers — Founder, Owner, Lead Admin, Admin, Jr Admin. Founders + Owners have access to manual Plus override at /admin/plus. All five can review whitelist applications at /admin/whitelist.
