Terms of Service

TL;DR

Don't ruin it for everyone else. Obey Coins are an in-server convenience, not real money. We can suspend an account that breaks the rules. UK law applies.

The service

Obey RP is a community FiveM roleplay server, a Discord guild, a Tebex storefront, and this website. By signing in, posting, or playing on the server you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Your account

  • One person, one Discord account, one whitelist application.
  • Don't share your account or impersonate another player or member of staff.
  • Anything done from your account is your responsibility — protect it with Discord 2FA.

Acceptable use

  • No harassment, doxxing, hate speech, or sexual content involving minors. Zero tolerance and no appeal.
  • Don't scrape the website, the bridge, or the bot APIs without a written-down agreement with us.
  • Don't exploit bugs you find — report them in #bug-reports for a coin reward instead.

In-game conduct

The full rulebook lives at /rules and forms part of these terms. The high-impact ones in plain English:

  • Roleplay in good faith. No RDM, no VDM, no metagaming, no stream-sniping.
  • Listen to admin instructions in-game. Disputes go to #admin-tickets, not regional chat.
  • Cheats, mod menus, modified clients = permanent ban + Tebex chargeback.

Store and Obey Coins

The Tebex store sells convenience items and the Obey Plus subscription. Obey Coins are an in-server token, not legal tender, and have no cash value. They're redeemable only on the Obey server while it's running, and only by the character they were credited to.

Termination

We can suspend or terminate your access at any time for breaching these terms or the rulebook. You can leave at any time by deleting your account in /profile. Severe breaches (cheating, chargebacks, harassment) are permanent.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is". We'll do our best to keep the server up and your character data safe, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Back up anything you can't afford to lose.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that can't be resolved through Discord goes to the courts of England and Wales.

Changes

Material changes will be announced 14 days in advance in the #announcements Discord channel and at the top of this page. Continued use after that counts as acceptance.
