Bella Dark wasn't born into crime — she was built by it.
Raised in a rough part of Britlife, Bella grew up around broken cars, broken homes, and broken promises. Her father owned a tiny roadside garage that barely stayed afloat, and from the time she could hold a wrench, Bella was under the hood learning engines instead of playing with toys. Cars became her escape. Machines made sense. People didn't.
What was left
When her father disappeared after getting involved with the wrong people, the garage was all she had left. No money. No help. Just debt and a reputation she didn't ask for.
That's when Bella learned how the city really works.
The underground scene
She started small — boosting cars for parts, altering VIN numbers, tuning engines for street racers who paid in cash and didn't ask questions. Her mechanical skill quickly made her known. If you needed a car to disappear, Bella was the one who could make it happen.
But Bella didn't just fix cars. She learned how to use them.
The escape artist
She became known for high-speed getaways — and for knowing every alleyway, backroad, and dirt trail in the city better than any GPS. Police would catch her, cuff her, think it was over — and somehow, she'd slip away again.
Nobody can quite explain how Bella Dark keeps escaping custody. Some say she hides lockpicks in her sleeves. Others say she's been studying officer routines for years. Bella never tells.
Two lives
By day, she runs the old garage, doing legitimate mechanic work for locals and keeping up appearances. The same shop her father walked out of, kept alive on her own terms.
By night, she's a ghost in the city's criminal underworld — stealing, running jobs, modifying getaway cars, and vanishing before the sirens fade.
The shape of her trust
Bella doesn't trust easily. She talks little, observes everything, and always has a backup plan. To her, survival is a skill — and she's mastered it.
The reputation on the streets is short:
"If Bella's driving, you're not getting caught."
And if you do catch her?
Don't blink. She won't be in those cuffs for long.
