V1.2.0 Please check out <#1377728909755420682> As well as this, I have also enabled the changelog via our website (easier to view). https://www.obeyrp.uk/changelog These come with some major changes and a big push on big fixes and economy balancing. @everyone Good Morning All We will be hosting a community meeting tomorrow ##SATURDAY 4th JULY @18:30 However this is going to be different from the other ones we have hosted before Owners and founders will not be doing the talking this is so the community can express ideas to each other to further improve our rp standards and scenes across the city This is not going to be for ANY bug fixes this is purely just for ideas to improve rp and scenes Everyone will have a chance to speak and it will still be monitored by owners and founders ANYONE slating anyone for their ideas WILL NOT BE TOLERATED and will just be removed and will not be aloud back into the meeting EVERYONE will have a fair chance to express their ideas Don’t be shy to put forward your ideas to the community Let’s make OBEY the best British server about Hope to see you all there Bradford ❤️

@everyone **Import announcement for the future of ObeyRp ** We are receiving reports of the standard of roleplay dimerising. A reminder to everyone, ObeyRP is a serious roleplay server, create your story arcs, RP properly and appropriately. We will quite honestly begin to come down hard on people not showing this level of RP that is expected. Behind the scenes in the coming days, there will be conversations with internal staff members / KP / gangs. Our staff, should be leading by example and this will be drilled into them, this includes myself, Swift, Brad all of us as staff, the roleplay quality should remain the same throughout and we ensure you that this will happen. We can't do this alone though, we need the players help to bring the RP level up, you are your own person, we entrust you all as experienced role-players to do better. We want, as we have always wanted, Obey to be your home, your virtual life, a place to forget about the hardships in real life that we all experience. We are all here for the same reason, to forget about the shitty world we all live in. We hope to see this improve with immediate effect.

<@&1427188747803426876> <@&1427188748260479036> We've removed the following : * Energy Mechanic * Inactive Gang compounds * Missions Row Park * Tropical Heights * Vinewood Hotel * Golden Pub * Bobcat * Highways MLO (Moved) * Houses no longer in use (1of1's) And more... to combat server stability issues impacting a few players / lag spikes. (These do seem to be localised based on our current information to players with slightly lower spec'd PC's) However, we will still be going through to ascertain concrete information on any further crashes following the above (Effective from 1am Storm) The business's are of course still available via our Tebex, and can be re instated We want to ensure that our server remains smooth and stable for everyone to enjoy and will work tirelessly to ensure this is the case. Over the next few days we will be reviewing everything systematically and a full review behind the scenes of scripts / usage and removing stuff not in use or looking at ways to bring them into use.

I have done my absolute best to retain numbers and contacts by merging the database and building bridges etc.. Your social accounts will 100% all have to be new. Unfortunately if it hasn't worked (won't know until restart) you'll need to get all your contacts again.. however, shiny new phone which you can even play games on!

**Official Amberzone Rules & Guidelines** Please review the following rules regarding Amberzones. These are effective immediately: * **Kidnapping:** Players *can* be kidnapped within an Amberzone. * **Killing & Robbing:** Killing or robbing other players inside an Amberzone is strictly prohibited. * **Prior Initiation:** If a scenario or initiation begins *outside* of an Amberzone and bleeds into one, Amberzone rules do not apply to the individuals involved. * **Mutual Consent:** Combat can only be initiated inside an Amberzone if **both** parties explicitly agree to it beforehand. * **Gang Businesses:** If a business is claimed or registered as a gang business, its Amberzone protection will be completely removed. Please ensure you familiarize yourself with these rules to avoid any staff intervention. Thank you! Clarification on Spite Reports; <@&1427188747803426876> We've noticed an increasing trend of players, when pulled into a ticket for a rule break, attempting to justify their actions by claiming another player broke a rule earlier. This is what we refer to as a spite report, and we want to make our stance clear. Another player's rule break does not justify your own. If you are pulled into a ticket for breaking a rule, that ticket is about YOUR actions. Pointing to something someone else did earlier will not excuse or cancel out the rule break you're being addressed for. Both matters are handled separately. If you genuinely believe another player broke a rule, you must open your own report. A valid report requires all of the following: - Player ID(s) of those involved - Video evidence clearly showing the rule break - In-game audio captured in the recording - Your microphone audio captured in the recording Reports that do not include every one of these will NOT be accepted. This keeps every case fair, properly evidenced, and handled on its own merits. Thanks for helping us keep things running smoothly. - The Staff Team
